Utah- Black Coturnix Quail Eggs
Due to Family Medical problems we have closed our business permantly.
Black Coturnix Quail are one the rarest Coturnix Quail in the United States. They did not have a presence in the U.S till 2019 when some eggs were imported from Germany. Please do not think of us as some do of alot of Hatchery's in the country. We are really just a small breeder. Infact we are very picky and not afraid to cull birds when they are not up to our standards and our standards are pretty high.
We are also one of the very few Breeders in Utah selling these beautiful Black Coturnix Quail and also being NPIP & AI certified. Which means we have someone authorized by the State Veternarian here in Utah to Inspect our chickens for Disease twice a year. You can buy with confidence !
Coturnix Quail as well as these Black Coturnix Quail are not used for hunting. They are meat and egg birds and do not fly very well. Alot of the time if startled they will flutter in the air and crash land. Once they crash land they hunker down because they know they can't fly very well.
The Black Coturnix Quail are not the easiest to raise. We are working to specialize in this rare line and be one of a few breeders in the country offering these Black Quail for sale. They were not even introduced into the USA till 2019. The Eggs were imported from Germany in 2019.
